Pomegranate Berry Cottage Cheese Smoothie

Prep: 5 mins
Cook: N/A
Servings: 2

Cottage cheese? Yup! Protein is important because it helps smoothies “stick with you” longer. Since protein takes longer to digest, it keeps you from getting hungry too soon. Cottage cheese contains 15 grams of protein in half a cup, and it adds a creamy texture that you can’t get from plain yogurt, milk, soy, or nut-based milk.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen organic mixed berries
  • 1 cup pomegranate juice
  • 1 medium banana
  • ½ cup organic nonfat cottage cheese
  • ½ cup water

*Choose organic whenever possible
