Dr. Ira Nash is the Executive Director of the North Shore-LIJ Medical Group, Senior Vice President of the North Shore-LIJ Health System, and professor of Cardiology and Population Health at the Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School of Medicine. After graduating summa cum laude from Harvard College, he received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School, and he maintains an active clinical practice as a board certified cardiologist. He is a former spokesperson for the American Heart Association, and is on the editorial board of the American Journal of Medical Quality.┬á Dr. Nash proudly served as a Commander in the Medical Corps of the United States Navy Reserve.
