A great cocktail for daytime occasions – especially when the weather is warm!


  • 2 organic strawberries
  • ½ cup of organic blueberries
  • 2 fresh organic basil leaves
  • 1 teaspoon organic raw sugar
  • Ice cubes
  • 1.5 jiggers (2 fluid oz.) gin (we love The Botanist)
  • 1 jigger (1.5 fluid oz.) fresh lemon juice
  • 2 jiggers (3 fluid oz.) chilled club soda

  1. Place the strawberries, basil leaves, and sugar into a cocktail shaker, and mash well with a cocktail muddler.
  2. Add half of the ice to the cocktail shaker, and place the rest into a tall glass.
  3. Pour in the gin and lemon juice, cover, and shake until the outside of the shaker has frosted.
  4. Strain into the chilled glass over the ice, top with the club soda, and stir to serve.


Raspberries make a nice substitute for the strawberries.
