Rosemary Infused Picante Cocktail

Nothing makes us more excited than a spicy cocktail made with sweet fruit. The juxtaposition of the heat + the sweet always makes us smile.


  • 1 ounce freshly squeezed Key Lime or lime juice
  • 1½ ounces agave nectar
  • 2 ounces fresh organic mango puree
  • Leaves from one stem of fresh organic rosemary
  • 1 ounce dry sherry
  • 2 ounces tequila (we love Herradura Reposado)
  • Chili powder, to taste
  • Slice of lime
  • Stems of fresh organic rosemary, for garnish

  1. Put the lime juice, mango purée, and agave nectar into a cocktail shaker. Add the rosemary leaves, and muddle with a wooden spoon or stick.
  2. Add the tequila, sherry, and a dash of chili powder. Shake. Add ice. Shake again vigorously.
  3. On a small plate, mix a healthy sprinkle of chili powder with the raw sugar. Run a slice of lime around the rim of each cocktail glass, then dip into the chili + sugar mixture.
  4. Strain the drink into cocktail glasses and serve!
