Create this refreshing, gin-based, end-of-summer treat with fresh watermelon, cucumber, and basil from the garden/farmer’s market.

  • ½ ounce St. Germain liqueur
  • 1 – 1 ½ jiggers (1 ½ to 2 ½ oz.) freshly pressed watermelon juice
  • 2 slices organic cucumber
  • 3 organic basil leaves, torn, plus a sprig for garnish
  • ½ of a lime, sliced into wedges for easier muddling
  • Splash club soda

  1. In a cocktail shaker, muddle cucumber slices, basil leaves, and lime wedges. Add gin, St. Germain liqueur, and watermelon juice to the shaker.
  2. Add a handful of ice. Shake to integrate. Pour into a tall glass, and finish with a splash of club soda.
  3. Garnish with a sprig of basil. Slap the basil between your hands to release the oils and intensify the aromatics. Enjoy!

Garnish with a sprig of rosemary.
